At Leap Space, we're passionate about lowering barriers to digital fabrication technologies. Our expert team designs and implements comprehensive makerspace solutions that introduce communities to 3D printing, laser cutting, robotics, programming, and more—making these powerful tools accessible to people of all ages and skill levels. From initial concept to full implementation, we guide institutions through every step of creating spaces where innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning thrive.
We can design ADA Compliant, fully mobile workstations for 3D printing.
We can also assist with implementing laser cutters and engravers with careful attention paid to safety.
In 2021, Leap Space partnered with Conyers Rockdale Public Library to implement a practical digital fabrication solution. Our team installed eight 3D printers across their teen and youth programming spaces, creating accessible hubs for technological exploration and creativity.
The results have been positive. Since implementation, the library has successfully hosted bi-monthly 3D printing workshops that consistently draw good attendance numbers. These workshops have become valuable events in the community's educational programming, introducing young people to the basics of 3D design and printing in an engaging, hands-on environment.
Community response has been supportive, with parents, educators, and participants expressing enthusiasm for the program. The initiative has helped bridge the technology access gap for many youth in the Conyers Rockdale area, providing opportunities to explore emerging technologies that might otherwise remain inaccessible.
This collaboration reflects Leap Space's mission of democratizing access to digital fabrication technologies while helping public institutions like Conyers Rockdale Public Library enhance their role as community learning centers.
